Glass art
Born in Venice, Celotto has been working with glass since he was 15 years old. As a student of the legendary glass master Lino Tagliapietra, he mastered the age-old Venetian technique of glass-blowing. Celotto’s talent was recognized early on by international glass art collectors.
Although his teacher’s influence is still noticeable, Celotto’s glass objects clearly have their own characteristics, both in form and in use of colour: graceful elongated shapes, sometimes ending in two points, sometimes with a single wider opening. Stunning and harmonious. An inspiring combination of traditional techniques with a great sense of artistic expression, which gives him a prominent place in the international glass art world.
