Sculptures

Erik Kierkel’s work consists of expressive images of bulls, horses, and dancers. Made visible on canvas, in colorful glass objects, or bronze sculptures. Sometimes full of passion and energy; other times refined and modest. A world that is full of contrasts in material and representation.

The diversity of materials and techniques all unmistakably have their own unique ‘Kierkels character’. This often results in combinations of his work within a garden, hall, or living room. His glass objects are designed for specific locations such as a nook, stairwell, or living room. Kierkels finds his inspiration in everyday life: “a passage from a book, a song, or an event on TV. It is the catalyst for the creative process, which sometimes takes weeks or months. My artworks are in private and business collections on all continents.”

“Playful, challenging, proud, and sometimes erotic.”
