Sculptural ceramic paintings
The 3D sculptural paintings in porcelain and clay show a play of light and shadow, created by the way the elements are laid out. With the change of light throughout the day, the work changes constantly, keeping it captivating. Both natural and artificial light add intensity to the work. Elements of ceramic are individually shaped by hand and therefore all different. Due to the different positions in which they are attached, the incidence of light and the position from which you look at the work, there seem to be nuance differences in colour. This keeps the work constantly in motion.
