New artist: Christel Delrieu Pétraud.

Recently we selected a new artist for our gallery: Christel Delrieu Pétraud.

Christel is an international award-winning artist from Toulouse, France. She has several international solo and group exhibitions to her credit, including in Spain, Italy and the United States. Her works are part of important collections such as the Palestine Museum in Connecticut, USA.

Pétraud has created her own handwriting.

Characteristic of Pétraud’s works are the intense, saturated colours that enhance her unusual compositions. In her work, she is constantly exploring: the composition of space, matter and time, but also different techniques, materials and the effects of colours and light.

Christel finds her inspiration mainly in science, travel and people, but also in photography and the digital world. Her portraits are veiled in a moving rhythm. The result: incredible paintings of mostly female beauties that delight our perception.
