The Netherlands, 1979
In search of her true purpose, Miss Jack said goodbye to the business world ten years ago and sought an artistic challenge. She has since achieved success; not only have companies approached her for commercial photography, but her work has also appeared in magazines frequently. She has photographed various artists, politicians, and members of the Royal House. Always with the same mission in mind: to create a timeless and beautiful image.
For the Biënnale Brabant, Miss Jack has chosen her “Hollandse Nieuwe” series, a meeting point between typically Dutch and foreign cultures. The contrast is provoking. “Juxtaposition is often a theme in my work and it is precisely this that can connect people. It gives a photo a deeper meaning.”
